Project 1 : Linear and Concentric
Precedent Studies
Precedent studies can aid us in our approach on design from minor considerations to overall concepts. The main aim is to critically analyse 2 selected architectural precedents in terms of spatial typology and poetics. One building must be pre-modern while the other must be contemporary. Also, one must be linear, and the other, concentric.

We apply the design strategies based on the precedents. Based on the given literature, we are to visualize it from an architectural viewpoint and eventually translate these forms of lyrics, text and poetry into a journey by using 2 distinct spatial typologies.
